Sleeping time…?

Susan says that teenagers need minimum 9 hours each day.
But I don't think so!! because the days which I have more than 9 hours a day are once or twice in the month. How about is in the case of you?
If you have asleep for 9 hours, you have to go to bed at 10 and get up at 7. Do you go to bed at 10 everyday exclude the day when you are tired? Actually I can't go to bed at 10, because I am not sleepy then. We should have asleep for more than 9 hours each day? It is impossible!!!

Takashi,
I know it is difficult to get to bed at a reasonable time because you have a lot of things to do in the evening.

My suggestion to you is that you need to be more organised. If you organise your time better you will be able to get to bed at a reasonable hour.

As for not being sleepy... you need to retrain your mind to form a good habit of going to bed at 10pm. This will take a few weeks but it can be done.

I think 7 is enough for me, but 9 will be better. Will have 100% power... maybe//

I went to bed at 1 a.m. last night. I usually sleep for 7 or 6 hours on weekdays. On weekend, I can sleep until noon to take my tiredness away.
However, I know these are bad for me...

I heard about that before,
and I heard under 10 years old 9 hours is the best, 11~14years children 8and half hours is the best and over 15years old 7hours is enough to them.
And now I'm 14-year-old, but I'm usually go to bed at 11 o' clock and wake up 7:30, and to me, it is not enough;;
If person, who can't sleep well, to him 7hours can be very enough, but if someone loves to sleep, like me 7hours can't be enough.
I think it's diffirent of each people's character or body balance.

Haha! I am not sure but I am the same like you because I can't sleep at 10 or too early as well.Even though I know sleep ealier is healthy for us. Anyway,
after I came to Australia for a week and stayed in the bording house...I need to follow the school rules...so I must sleep at 9:30~10. I think that helps me to be more healthy.And I found that I will not be as sleepy as before in the early morning.As what my parents have told me...I should have at least 9 hours to sleep.
