KENSUKE

The next term started from today. How quickly my holiday went! I did nothing special during the holiday, and there was nothing but boredom. So I was looking forward to the next term starting although I didn’t use to like going to school.
I finished reading a book named “The Thief Lord” written by Cornelia Funke. This book was such an enjoyable book I couldn’t help reading it. What’s more, it was also written in plain English for children. So I expect that you will find yourselves absorbed in this book if you try reading it.
I have already begun to read another book written by the same author as “The Thief lord”. Even though I have read only a third page of the whole story so far, I’m convinced that this book must be fascinating!
By the way, the new Japanese students came last Sunday, and some of the students have joined SSPP class. There are a lot of people and the common room is busier now. I think it’s a good thing. I'd like to spend pleasant time with you all!

Hello Kensuke,
Yes the new term has begun! I am glad that you are happy to be back at school studying.
I haven't read "The Thief Lord". Do you have a copy of the book? If so I would like to borrow it from you.

Yes I agree with you that it is good that the common room is buzzing with students. You can feel the difference in the energy level when you walk around the school.

It's good to have all of you back and it is also good to have some new students as well.

Regards
Susan H
